Enrolment
Enrolment Dates
We have main enrolment periods from August to September and December to February. Some courses enrol throughout the year so always check with the CIC. If you have already applied, had an interview and have been offered a conditional or unconditional place to start in September, our Central Admissions team will send you a letter during July inviting you to complete enrolment during a specific time from 19 - 25 August 2010. Please try not to book any holidays at this time. We will also include with your enrolment letter our Enrolment Booklet which explains what you must bring in to enrol and a range of other useful information. Please make sure you read through it thoroughly before you attend.

It is easy to enrol!
At the enrolment session, you will be asked to complete an enrolment form before you are interviewed and then enrolled. If you are enrolling onto a course running for more than 16 hours per week, you will need to take an assessment test consisting of computer-based screening and a short piece of writing. The test is nothing to worry about - it will just help your tutor to plan your lessons before you start the course as well as allowing us (and you) to ensure that you are applying for the right course. You may be asked to take this test straight after you enrol or during your induction week.
Enrolment is subject to you meeting the conditions of entry and places being available. Please ensure you bring proof of any previous qualifications with you. If you are under 19 years old or applying for a Health, Social Work or Childcare course, you will also need to bring a completed reference form. If your reference is from your previous school, you will need to obtain it before the end of the summer term as teaching staff are not normally available during the summer holidays.
If you wish to study English as a Second/Foreign Language at the College, you don’t need to fill in an application form, just call the CIC on 0800 980 2185 or come to the site where you wish to study for an appointment. If there are no places and the waiting lists are full we will advise you when to call back again. If you are phoning from outside the UK please call +44 (0) 20 8741 1688 or email cic@wlc.ac.uk for the latest details. Those applying from outside the EU should visit the International pages of this website for more information.
If you have any queries or need further help, please freephone 0800 980 2185.
If you wish to join a course that is starting mid-year, please contact the College Information Centre at least one month before the course starts (whenever possible) for the latest details.
