IELTS Test Preparation

There are four ways you can prepare for an IELTS Test:

Do I have to take the IELTS preparation course?

No, it is not a requirement but it is highly advisable. The IELTS test focuses on four different skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking.  Without the preparation course many students score 6 or below, which does not allow them to access higher education. Language competence is often not enough.  Not only do candidates have to familiarize themselves with the format of the test but with exam techniques and often it is only qualified and experienced tutors who are able to explain and teach these so that the candidates achieve the required score.

Who are the test preparation courses for?

They are for students at upper-intermediate and advanced level who only need to improve their exam taking techniques and for students who need to improve their English.
We offer a variety of courses with different number of hours per week which are designed to cater for everyone’s needs. They are run at different times (in the morning, afternoon and evening as well as on Saturdays for students who cannot attend classes during the week) to suit different schedules. They differ in length (from 2 weeks to 1 year courses) depending on your level of English and what you want to achieve.

We offer three types of courses:
1. Short test preparation courses focused only on exam techniques.
2. Longer test preparation courses with additional focus on the language.
3. Courses focused only on particular skills: e.g. listening and speaking, reading, writing, exam practice or grammar and vocabulary for IELTS.

All of the courses include two free mock tests at the beginning and at the end of the course. Our professional IELTS team will give you constructive feedback with suggestion for improvements.

1. Short test preparation

These courses are designed for students whose English ranges from upper–intermediate to advanced. The course is designed to familiarise candidates with the format and exam techniques. You should not expect to improve your English language skills.

There are three options students can choose from. They run in the afternoon, evening and on Saturdays.
